Over the past couple of weeks, Moviemientos have been thinking up ways to help raise funds for Summer Sessions… as yesterday was May Day fest in Berlin, we did the only responsible thing we could think of: set up a bar and water the masses!

Yesterday, Moviemiento brought out the much-loved Kinomobilny and hit the streets for May Day in the first instalment of many FUNdraisers for Summer Sessions

It didn’t rain (hooray!), drinks were free-flowing, and there were even balloon models for kids… and young-at-heart adults. DJ Morgenstern provided the beats, and all-in-all the day was a great success, with many old and new faces came past to take a seat, have a drink and celebrate with us.

A giant thank you to all those who came by and supported us! Thanks to you, our dreams of an epic Summer Sessions event is a bit closer to reality!

This was the second action we’ve organised to raise funds for Summer Sessions… and it won’t be the last. You can ‘like’ Moviemiento on Facebook for updates on future actions. And if you weren’t able to come by on May 1st, you can still help by donating to our crowdfunding campaign. We’re giving people very awesome incentives to donate, including hugs, Egyptian insults, and your very own personal screening(!).

Please spread the word to your friends and networks, and help us make this a festival to remember.

Thank you everyone who has helped so far!
